The iMax B6 is quite an impressive little microprocessor controlled charger. It can balance charge LiPo (Lithium Polymer), LiFe (A123), Li-ion cells, as well as charging NiMh, NiCd and Pb batteries.

Description:

This is a great little 6s charger if you're just starting out with model aircraft or making the conversion to electric flight.  Capable of handling up to 6 LiPo cells connected in series and charging at up to 50W, it will handle almost any battery you need it to. The charger itself is a only DC unit so instead of leaving you to plug your charger into your car battery or some other 12v DC power source, purchasing your iMax B6 from ChargedRC includes a suitable AC power adapter.

The power adapter plugs directly into the iMax B6 and uses a standard computer power cord to connect to the wall socket.  Use this battery charger package at home to charge up before heading out to the field, and then just disconnect the charger from the AC adapter and take the iMax with you to the field to use as a DC charger (or take the AC adapter with you if you fly at a powered site).

The B6 has a built in balancer with the balance taps located on the side of the unit. This allows you to plug in and balance charge any battery we sell as well as all of the batteries that come with our RTF or ARF aircraft kits.  If you require a different balance adapter board, ie for Polyquest, FlightPower etc batteries, please contact us.

The charger comes with a range of charging plugs included as well as an English manual.  One of the best things about the B6 is the storage charge mode for LiPo batteries. If you aren't going to use your LiPo batteries for more than a few days, keeping them at storage charge or storage voltage will greatly increase their life and durability.

This is a great little charger, either as a first charger or to use as a backup or field charger :)

Please please please never leave your Lithium batteries charging un-attended.
Also, if your LiPo battery is puffed or you suspect it is damaged in any way please DO NOT charge it or use it.
