This aircraft comes in ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) kit only. The ARF kit includes all electronics and a flight battery, but no radio gear.

Description:
The full size Alpha is a co-manufactured light attack jet and advanced jet training aircraft from Dornier of Germany and Dassault-Breguet of France. FMS have done a great job capturing this jet's excellent flight characteristics for the new EDF jet pilot. The jet comes in factory painted colours modelled on the Portuguese Air Force's Alpha jet. The red and white paint scheme on the belly contrasts wildly with the green/white and black scheme on the top of the aircraft, making it very easy for a new pilot to see which side is up when learning to fly. This also helps quite a lot with orientation in flight.

Powered by a big 70mm EDF unit/brushless motor and a 2200mAh 14.8v 4s LiPo battery, the FMS Alpha has more then enough power to handle basic aerobatics as well as general flight and flight training. The wings are large and mounted high on the body which increases flight stablity and the generous wing area assists greatly with slow flight and makes landings easier.
The wheels are large enough to handle rough grass takeoffs and landings, as well as being fine for packed dirt or concrete runways. This is a great jet if you want to make the transition to an EDF and want a jet that will be gentle with you, or if you are a new pilot and wanting to purchase a trainer and an EDF in one package.

Please note that all aircraft kits are now double boxed for shipping and the cost of double boxing is now included in the shipping cost. Our courier allows us to place "Fragile" and "Top Load Only" markings on the kit boxes we send with them, so double boxing is usually enough protection for your expensive model.  We do offer insurance and a re-delivery (courier will attempt re-delivery of package instead of leaving it) service if you like so please send us an email before placing your order if you wish to have these services.

• 4s capable LiPo charger
• 2 part epoxy or foam safe CA glue with accelerator (we recommend that you use these glues if the kit does not include epoxy)
